This policy applies to classes, passes, memberships, and lessons offered by Smithville Old-Time Dance Club LLC (the “Club”). Our goal is to be fair and flexible while keeping classes affordable for everyone.
Drop-in classes
Drop-in fees are paid per class. If the Club cancels a class you paid to attend, we will refund that fee or apply an account credit, whichever you prefer.
Season passes & tuition
- Full refund (less a $10 administrative fee) if you withdraw at least 7 days before the season begins.
- During the first two weeks of a season, a prorated account credit for remaining classes.
- After the first two weeks, refunds are generally not available, except for a documented medical reason or relocation, at the Club's discretion (prorated credit).
Memberships
- Monthly memberships may be cancelled anytime and stop at the end of the current paid month; partial months are not refunded.
- Annual memberships may be converted to a prorated account credit for unused whole months, less any processing costs.
Private & semi-private lessons
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule a private or semi-private lesson. Lessons cancelled with less notice, or missed, may be charged.
Registration fee & weather
- The annual registration fee is non-refundable.
- If the Club cancels a class for weather or other reasons, we will offer a makeup class or an account credit.
How to request a change
